So I know this song is about a girl, and while I am headed to Texas to see people here, it's not the love of my life, it's just the one song my mom (who was born in Texas) mentions all the time - so it's the one song I relate with Texas and it flows with my song snippets as titles for the blog.
Caleb: He had a pretty good week. He's recently figured out how to climb up onto things so there isn't anything safe anymore - like the dining room table...or the desk...but it's really cute to see how proud he is of himself so I guess I won't try to discourage him as much as I should...sometimes I wonder why he thinks I'm a push over and then something like this happens and I have a "duh" moment. haha

Byron: As far as I know he had a great week too. He found out that he gets to go to an "end of project presentation" in Alabama sometime in the first week of December and he's pretty excited about that. Things at work have been going well with his project(s) and I give him a hard time about being a nerd more and more with each passing day. He handles it well though.
Arielle: So there are a
ton of things I
should have done this week - but why clean your apartment and pack for a trip when you can go shopping, hang out with your parents and have your Aunt Elizabeth over to make tutu's? Who ever said that being an adult meant you had to be responsible?? haha

In General: Monday Byron had the day off work so we spent the morning cleaning up around the apartment before taking a couple things to my parents house and relaxing. Wednesday we took Alyssa to her end of season soccer party but decided to go to Dorothy Lane Market for one of their $11 18" pizzas instead of paying for pizza at the place the rest of her team ate...bad idea -
so.much.grease. hahaha or olive oil - whatever it was Caleb had a really unusual diaper the following morning. Friday night Byron and I went on a date! To a festival in Springboro called "Christmas in Springoro" It's an annual festival they have there in the middle of November every year and it's amazing. They have a booth there with the BEST kettle corn ever and last year they had a booth with incredible steak tip dinners. Unfortunately we were unable to find that vendor again. but we made up for it by getting soup (Byron's favorite) at Dorothy Lane Market on the way home. They also have a horse drawn carriage you can ride up and down the street in - although it's really big so I suppose you would call it a trolley instead. They have blow up jumpy things that children can play on and a cute little train little kids can ride in. Basically a
ton of fun in less than a mile stretch of road in downtown Springboro :). Early early this morning we flew out of Ohio and headed for a week long vacation in Texas, a Boulton Family Reunion, and we can't wait to spend the week with Byron's parents, brothers, sisters, and nephews. We know it will be a blast.
