Caleb: He's learning how to get into everything. He opens our kitchen and bathroom cabinets, takes caps off my pens and lids off my perfume, and climbs up and tries to get into things that are higher than his reach. Nothing is safe anymore. :) 2 Weeks ago he took his first steps!!! We've been working with him a little bit since then but he doesn't really work very hard at it, he likes to just fall on his bum and keep crawling.
Byron: Last week was pretty quiet for him. We had gotten back into town Monday evening and Tuesday felt funky after being out of town all week. They spent most of his time at work getting ready for a presentation he and one of his co-workers were going to in Huntsville, Alabama.
Arielle: I didn't really get much done. Tuesday I had to take Caleb to the ENT specialist for a follow up on his tubes and the rest of the week I just spent trying to get back into the swing of things. Friday morning my mommy and I walked Amber up to her preschool in the morning and it felt great to get that 3 mile walk in. We've decided to start doing it regularly and are enjoying it quite a bit. :)
In General: Friday night a couple that (kind of) recently moved into Centerville ward came over for dinner and played games with us. They have 6 children and are really fun to be around, and they have awesome games :) Saturday evening was the adult session of stake conference. There were some powerful messages shared and it was so nice to have an evening out of the apartment.
I suppose that's all for last week. I'm so excited it's December and can't wait to see all the Lane's in a couple of weeks!!! Cheerio!
