Caleb: He's a strong willed little booger that likes to push his daddy to the limits during sacrament meeting - but he's soft and sweet when he's asleep and will actually fall asleep when we're holding him now, and has the cutest little dimple, so I guess he still has some redeeming qualities.
Byron: Friday was his last day in his current office. The movers are working this weekend to get everything set up in the new office and while it will be a slightly longer bike ride, he, and the rest of the company, are excited about the space they'll have.
Arielle: This week I had fun planning and plotting 2 incredibly delicious dinners, and I ALSO realized that Caleb's "Me" complex has developed a little too much and I've got a lot of work ahead of me.
In General: Tuesday Byron and I finally met up with another couple from his work and tried a new, fun Mediterranean restaurant called Kabab House, and had a good time talking with Justin and Cassie. (They gave us the crib mattress Caleb uses and a bunch of other stuff last year and they're a super fun couple). Wednesday night we had the elder's over and we got to help Elder Riggs celebrate his birthday. I had called his mom and got the recipe for his favorite dinner, enchilada pie (if you click on the word HERE, you can get the recipe), and we got him a cheesecake (his requested birthday cake). We put candles on it and sang Happy Birthday and everything. It was a ton of fun. I enjoy helping people celebrate their birthdays - they're such important days :) :) :). Thursday morning I made breakfast in bed for Byron and started a pot roast for his Valentine Dinner. After he left for work I picked up Charlie and watched him for the morning so my parents could go on a date. My mom helped me curl my hair and make cherry tarts afterwards and Byron and I got home around the same time. The roast was done, and incredibly delicious, and we had a nice evening. Friday evening was a birthday open house for one of my sisters best friends, and since we love the family, and were invited, we went. It was fun and almost date-like, getting to talk to a bunch of other couples from church while Alyssa took Caleb. Saturday we went to Tech-Fest at Sinclair. It's a math and science fair geared towards kids put on by Sinclair once a year. Businesses and schools from all over the area come and set up interactive booths to teach kids more about science and technology. It was awesome and Byron really enjoyed himself.
I guess that's all for this week, I hope you all had a good time too, Cheerio!
