Ready or Not, Here I Come

No worries, I did stick with my song title theme for the blog, this one is called Ready or Not by Brigit Mendler and is one of Caleb's favorite songs to dance to.

We've had a rather busy week here in the Boulton household so I hope this post doesn't get too long :)

Caleb:  He's been a stinker, and a sweetheart.  We've decided he needs to learn how to talk soon, since his screaming just gets on everyone's nerves and doesn't give him the results he wants nearly as fast as he wants them.  The funny thing said about him this week was from a friend at church when she called him an "old soul" which made me laugh, since I call Byron that all the time.

Byron: He loves his new office.  He has what they've dubbed "officles" since the cubicles are more like a 10x10 room with sturdy walls that reach higher than a cubicle wall does.  He has a window on one side of his officle which he feels makes the day go faster.  He also gets to work faster than before by almost 5 minutes, which surprised us both since he's added a mile to his commute, but there aren't any hills so I guess that flat ride makes for a smoother, faster ride.

Arielle:  I got to babysit for a new family for the first time this week.  It was pretty fun.  They have 3 children, ages 4 or 5, 3, and 2, and the mom is expecting.  The game they wanted to play the most was hide and seek and they loved being read to. I must admit I was pretty worn out by the end of the day since I also helped with my ward's New Beginnings program.  I had the easy job, providing the refreshments, and everyone else put a ton of effort into the program and decorating, but I was sure happy when I got to crawl into bed at the end of the day. :)

In General: Monday Byron had the day off for Presidents Day so we joined my family for a fun filled day that involved roller skating (for Byron), swimming, and spending time with awesome siblings and cousins.  We ran into a couple families from church at the skating rink as well, so that was a ton of fun and we were all nice and tired by the time bed time rolled around. Wednesday evening Byron and I got to go out for Valentine's.  My Dad watched Caleb and we went to Olive Garden (delicious food) and walked around Barnes and Noble after dinner.  My mom's car also happened to break down that night, so on our way to pick Caleb up we picked my mom and sister up from the repair shop where they had been dropped off with their van by the tow truck driver.  Thursday Byron came and helped with the clean up process from New Beginnings, which I was extremely grateful for, but it meant Caleb was up a little past his bedtime so Caleb and I both got nice long naps yesterday afternoon.  This morning we went to my parents house where the missionaries made buttermilk pancakes from scratch and this afternoon we're headed to a baptism with cupcakes, because everyone knows I need more sweets in my life :) haha.

Well I guess that's all the news for this week. Cheerio!

It's one of his new favorite games,
he'll crawl away really fast saying "he's gonna get me, he's gonna get me"

Just loved his smile and had to share it
