I'll Find the Things They Say Just Can't Be Found

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hr_jUu5Rfw8 - This is the song I got today's blog title from and it's darling.  I love it and wanted to share.  I think it was written as a theme song for every little boy, all around the world.

Caleb:  He's getting bigger and bigger.  He can sign eat now, as well as more and please, and sometimes mixes "more" and "please" and ends up signing "give me" but since he doesn't know he's being rude we usually let it go.  He loves strawberries.  They were on sale this week at Mejier ($1 per lb) so I had put some in the cart and as soon as he saw them he started asking.  I knew I couldn't give him any until I had paid for them so I headed over to the bakery and got a free cookie.  Did he eat it? NO.  Did he smash it to pieces and throw it on the floor several times all while asking for strawberries? Yes, yes he did. Yesterday evening they were part of dessert and I think he ended up eating more strawberries in an hour than he had eaten of anything else all day long.  He's quite the little addict. haha  His biggest news is that he can now get out of his crib!!! Friday I put him down for a nap and went to lay down but I heard him banging (on what I thought was the wall) and went to get him and he was behind his bedroom door! We've not been able to get him to nap in his crib since then and are wondering how we're going to train him to use a big boy bed 2 months earlier than we had planned.

Byron:  He's enjoyed the warm weather this week and been a great help in keeping my sanity.  He worked on some tutorials this week at work and has been debugging more stuff - a never ending process, but he enjoys what he does so I'm not going to complain.  I'm so incredibly grateful how wonderful his job is and that we're close to family.

Arielle:  I ate like a queen this morning after Byron made me breakfast (toast, bacon, sliced strawberries and scrambled eggs with orange juice) and wondered if maybe he had just decided Mother's Day was coming early this year, but he was just being sweet.  Oh how I love him <3.  I got to stay busy this week and have enjoyed going through Byron's mission memorabilia and planning how to decorate Caleb's room in the house.  We can't wait to move in.

In General:  Monday night we got to join my family for dinner and Family Home Evening with their elders, and Tuesday we had our elders over! I made chicken parmesan for the first time in almost forever, and we had strawberry pie (so yummy).  Yesterday morning Byron came with my mom, sister, and I and helped me dig up some iris's that a friend of mine was getting rid of, so we have flowers to plant in our flower beds this year, then we went to the house and started turning the soil and digging out weeds.  We worked for an hour and only got about 1/3 of the front flower bed done (the renters before us didn't do anything with them while they were there), but the leaves on the trees are budding and the white peach tree has blossoms on it in the front yard so I'm extremely excited.  In the evening we got to go to a friends house for dinner and games.  Even Caleb enjoyed himself following their children around and exploring the new territory.  This evening was a celebration for my Daddy's birthday as well as my cousin's graduation, Gabrielle's YW recognition, and my "gender reveal"  We got to eat hot dogs and hamburgers off the grill and enjoy all the family that lives in Ohio and it was absolutely wonderful.

Button:  Well, Button is no longer a mystery.  As many (if not all) of you know, it's a BOY! and we're looking forward to his arrival.  We're going to name him David Michael (a combination of my brother's name and Byron's brother's middle name).  He was extremely wiggly during the exam and kept moving right out from under the instrument, and he wasn't nearly as excited for us to know his gender as Caleb was, constantly keeping his legs crossed and pulled up into his body, but the tech said there's no doubt he's certainly a "he" even if I couldn't discern it as well as I had with Caleb hahaha.

Sorry the blog got so long this week, I guess I had a lot to share.  Hope you're all doing well! We love you all and can't wait to hear from each of you.  Cheerio!

We got an out door trash can for the house and Caleb was helping put it in the garage.

One of the blossom's on the white peach tree in our front yard

Caleb trying to help with the flower beds.
The area on the left side of the brick is supposed to be a flower bed...can you tell?

Byron tilling the ground for me so it would be easier to get the weeds out.
(This was after we had pulled weeds, he was tilling everything he had stamped down)
He works so hard. <3

Who knew Caleb could make yet another facial expression??

No, that is not a zoomed in shot from the side.  That's his left leg coming out of the corner.
He's all balled up in the left side of the screen and it's a shot from under him.

I like this one the best because it has one of his feet in the picture
Out of the 5 shots we got, 4 of them were almost identical to this one.
This is the most zoomed out the tech went for pictures.
Next time I'll know to ask for a variety. haha
