Caleb: He's gotten to have a ton of fun this week. Thursday we joined my parents and siblings at the YMCA for swimming and he had a blast splashing around in the water with his Uncle Charlie. Friday we went with them to the zoo in Cincinnati where he got to see a bunch of different animals, pet a hedgehog, and ride a carousel. He had a blast and took really good naps :)
Byron: He's had a good week at work troubleshooting and debugging a couple different programs. He did a bunch of work on tutorials and learned more about python, another programming language.
Arielle: I've had a rather enjoyable week as well. I've been going over to the house a lot. Tuesday I helped a little bit with some work outside. My mom re-shaped the tree in the front yard and my dad and I took a limb off a tree in the back yard that was knocked down during one of the windier days last month. I realized the renters who lived there did absolutely nothing with the flower beds so they're over run with little weeds and grass, so Byron and I have some work cut out for us, but the inside is beautiful and spotless. I put up some drapes so the house wouldn't look vacant from the street, and am looking forward to moving some boxes and picture frames over there this week.
In General: The weather has been getting more and more beautiful by the day so Friday evening we had a picnic at Cox Arborateum and fed some of the fish in the front pond with bread crumbs. Thursday evening we had an impromptu dinner appointment with the missionaries after which they helped Byron take the bed frame for Caleb's "big boy bed" over to the house. Saturday morning before conference we went over there and put it all together. Caleb was more helpful than we thought he would be, and we enjoyed watching him try to put the bed together (using the screwdriver in the holes with no screws and handing Byron hardware.) I was extremely grateful Byron was there to help put things together because even though it offered video tutorials online I didn't have a computer and wouldn't have been able to figure out half the hardware that Byron had already seen and used before. :)
Button: It's much easier to feel the baby moving throughout the day but I feel like I have a half grown watermelon inside me, not a tiny little baby. I'm almost halfway through though and we're looking forward to the ultra sound this Friday!!!
I guess we've had a pretty boring week to read about but I've been busy and happy and I hope you're all doing well. We love you all and can't wait to hear from each of you. We love keeping in touch. Cheerio!
