Caleb: His favorite thing to say is "Uh-Oh" and will say it all the time - at the end of a book, when he's playing peek-a-boo, and most appropriately, when he throws his food on the ground to signify he's done eating. This week our primary president took Caleb into nursery during 3rd hour so Byron and I could each teach without a problem. One of the primary leaders came to me afterwards to tell me how sweet he was snuggling a baby doll (he would pat it's back, rock it in his arms, and set it gently on the ground before going to another activity). The primary president assured me he did better in there than most of the other kids who are already in there and that he's going to love nursery.
Byron: He's been helping his mom and dad install a new Linux distribution this week after putting Caleb to bed, and it's proven to be a little challenging since they're doing it all over the phone. Hopefully they'll get things finished up tonight. Work is the same as always, and Byron is quite content, which makes me happy. He's been wonderful in helping me get boxes to the house every evening after I spend the day packing whatever I can.
Arielle: I've been packing and cleaning and organizing and getting rid of anything I can while dealing with some of the worst allergies ever. We're hoping to be sleeping in the house by Friday but we won't have our big furniture (our bed frame and dressers, etc.) until May 4th. Caleb's been getting sick of the apartment and lets me know when he wants to leave, and his love for reading books - repetitively - is slowing my progress quite a bit.
In General: Friday night we borrowed my parents van and my dad to get a TV and armoire from a family in the Centerville Ward who was getting rid of it. It's a 2004 so it's a little older, but they said it works great (we haven't tried it out yet, it went straight to the house) and the cabinet is really nice. Wednesday Caleb and I packed up all of his toys and took them over to the house. He has his toy room all set up now so I have something to occupy him while I unpack a couple things and get boxes into specific rooms. We also planted some iris's in the front flower bed and my mom helped me get the rest of the weeds dug out while the electrician worked in the house to figure out why the outlets on one of my kitchen walls wasn't working (there was an outlet behind the stove that needed to be reset but we forgot it was back there and it took a while to find haha) and my dad cleaned carpets. Yesterday we got to attend a baptism for 2 children. One of them had a lot of non-member family there and I was so grateful for the strong spirit present. It was incredible. Yesterday evening we went to my cousin Logan's 5th birthday party and Caleb had fun eating doritos and playing with other babies there. Since it was a super hero theme I got to make Caleb a pretty rockin' cape and Byron got to know my cousin's husband a little better, which I'm excited about since they're here for the summer and if they become friends, I'll get to see Katrina more often! hahahahahaha.
This evening after church we got to enjoy a delicious grilled dinner at my parents and it was fun spending time with my family.
David: I felt him kicking all the way through typing this up, he's getting bigger and he's quite strong. Byron got to feel him move the other night (which is his favorite part of my being pregnant) and I love watching his face fill with joy and love and wonder.
That's all the news from us this week - we love you all! Cheerio!
