What a Beautiful Mess

This week has been a little hectic, but every little bit has been worth it.  I love spending time with family, and I love our home, and I love my sweet husband and baby Caleb.

I know I promised pictures this week, but I didn't have the time to have Byron do all the work I needed him to do (I know, I'm such a slave driver hahaha) so I will try my hardest to get pictures I can work with for next week, even if I have to do one room at a time after I get it spotless hahaha.

Caleb: This week has been a fun one for him. He can now say the word “ball”, loves to make car sounds, and his favorite toy is our stick vacuum. He got to go for a lot of walks this week and loves playing in the yard while we pull weeds.

Byron: He's been heading up a project re-doing some tutorials for work and it has proven a little hectic and difficult, but working with some of his co-workers he was in a good place by Friday evening so I think things are going well. He was in a minor accident with his bicycle Tuesday night so he's been getting rides to work every day, but we plan on getting his bike fixed as soon as we have time in the evening to get over to Dick's Sporting Goods.

Arielle: I feel like I've gotten a lot done this week, but when I look around I can't really tell. I unpacked books this week and got some other boxes with odds and ends sorted through. We managed to find a sister in our ward who is moving so she came and picked up boxes Thursday and this afternoon I got to help one of my sisters with her hair for the modest prom (her birthday was Wednesday, so this was her first church dance and she was extremely excited). I got to see my cousin Katrina twice this week and it was super nice to spend time with her and talk. It's so nice to have friends :)

In General: It seems like every evening this week has been filled with one thing or another. Tuesday was Byron's bicycle accident and there were several concerned passerby that made sure the got medical attention and talked to a police officer (his wrist was bruised and he scraped up an elbow but otherwise walked away unscathed and grateful. His bicycle needs some repair work but he's been wanting to get it tuned up for a couple months now anyway). Wednesday evening we got to spend time with my family to celebrate Gabrielle and Chandler's birthday before coming home for a belated Mother's Day skype with Mom and Dad Boulton. Thursday morning we took Chandler to Bill's Donuts before school to get treats to share with his class. After dropping Byron off at work Chandler and I drove over a car fire on 675 that caused a huge backup. Friday night Byron and I enjoyed dinner and some shopping for neon gear Byron can wear while riding his bicycle, and Caleb loved spending time with his Auntie Brie. Yesterday we went to the apartment and did some deep cleaning, all we have left is cleaning out the refrigerator and getting a box of cleaning supplies out. It feels good to be so close to finishing things up there and I'm extremely grateful to Byron for being so willing to help move things along. :)  We also went to a grad party for a friend of mine (graduated with her BS in Spanish with a minor in Chemistry) and got ready for the picnic we had this afternoon with my parents and both sets of grandparents.  Chandler was ordained to the Aaronic priesthood today so everyone was there to recognize what an awesome kid he is.

David: He's getting bigger, and stronger. Byron got to feel him kicking again Friday night and I feel him more through out the day even when I'm moving around instead of mostly when I'm resting. I've decided I'm glad I'm due at the end of the summer so I can make full use of the season pass I bought to the pool and I won't have to stay out of the water. :)
