Busy as a Bee

This post is for 2 (and a half) weeks ago.  I put it off because I lost my ultrasound pictures and was hoping I would find them, but I still haven't, and have decided to put this up and post the pictures when turn up again. :)

David:  He has decided that morning naps are no longer a thing of the past, and has fallen asleep before 11 AM three or four days this week.  It throws off the schedule for the rest of the day and I'm dragging by bedtime, but be doesn't seem to notice any of those things. :)
He loves trains right now and I often hear him walking around the house trying to sing the Dinosaur Train theme song.  He sees the iPad and knows he can watch it on there, and becomes quite upset when we don't let him, but he'll make his way to the train tracks to the basement and make himself content with the trains there instead.

Caleb:  He's a bundle of fun every single day of the week.  He loves asking us to read him Amelia Bedelia books, playing outside, doing puzzles, and telling us he's already gone potty or taken a nap "a hundred times!".  He loves to be a big brother and talks about the coming baby every day.  When we went to the ultra sound and told him it was going to be a baby brother he said "Another baby David?".  We've been teaching him that the new baby's name is Ezekiel, and he's trying to hard to say it right.  He's gotten pretty good but usually adds and extra Z to the front of it.  He was super excited to show off his sign language skills in his Sunbeam class yesterday, and was very upset when we had to return his sign language book to the library on Saturday.  He still asks to go camping every day, so Byron has been contemplating a backyard camp out when the grass dries out.

Byron:  He's been working hard making my life wonderful.  Friday night he took care of the boys for the evening while I got our bedroom cleaned out and functional again. (Laundry accumulates faster than anything else, and the boys love bringing books and various toys to our room in the morning) Saturday morning he walked to a park that's a little under a mile from the house and played with the boys, even in the rain, for a good hour while I got some things done here at home.  I am so unbelievably blessed by my incredible husband, and his selfless service.

Arielle:  I'm doing well.  In the past week I had my 20 week ultrasound (another boy! We're so excited), attended playgroup, went fabric shopping with my mommy, made over 400 buckeyes for a friend that wanted to take them for a teacher appreciation lunch she helps host every year, and took my sweet boys to Carriage Hill Farm to enjoy seeing some farm animals, though I think Caleb's favorite part was the penny candy and running around with his cousin Carson.  My mommy and I have started a facebook page for a small online boutique selling handcrafted items.  So far we just have the nursing ponchos up, but plan on adding things as we can get them made.  We'll see how it goes. :)

In General:  I guess the best thing we got to do this week was Thursday night.

My parents had us over with my grandparents and a woman that had been one of their foster daughters for a wonderful lasagna dinner before we went to the church.  We were able to witness my grandparents being set apart for their mission.  My boys were a little rowdy, but I was still glad we got to be there for something so wonderful.  As far as I know they left Friday to head for Salt Lake City. They'll spend 5 days in the MTC, then report to the Family History Center there in Salt Lake for the remainder of their 2 year mission.  They'll get some more specialized training before starting their missionary work, but my Grandpa especially seems thrilled to start this new adventure and I'm so glad they're getting this wonderful opportunity.
