Back to Life, Back to Reality

This week has been pretty bland after the week of Christmas and festivities...but I'll write a quick blog just to keep you guys updated - since I know you care so much ;) hahaha



Caleb:  He's had the flu this week.  There was a 24 hour bug going around the reunion, and we thought that was all he had but he kept throwing up until Thursday.  Thankfully it seems to have passed and he's willingly eating again, much to my relief.

Since he's been sick he's been succumbing to naps much easier, and fell asleep on the living room floor

Byron:  He had to return to work Wednesday and has enjoyed the things he's working on enough that he's been working through lunches.  I thought I would miss him a ton after he went back, but it's been nice to be back into a routine again.  I never realized how much I loved knowing most of what was going to happen for the day as soon as I woke up.

Arielle:  Things have been pretty great this week, well, after Tuesday anyway.  We've cleaned, I've gotten to spend time with my family, and I've gotten to take naps!!!

In General:  Monday night Byron, Caleb and I were all out of sorts after getting the 24 hour bug that was running rampant through the families by the end of the reunion.  My parents kindly took Caleb and watched him for a few hours on Tuesday so Byron and I could get some rest (we thought he was already over it) but when he spewed on Alyssa's friend from EFY who had come for a visit, we went and picked him up.  By the end of Wednesday Byron and I were both fine again, but Caleb seemed to hold onto that bug as long as possible and his dinner made a re-appearance on my living room floor while we had the elder's here for dinner...let's just say it brought a quick end to the evening and I am still ever so grateful my parents have a carpet cleaner :)  He was better after that though, he seemed to finally have gotten it out of his system so Friday night we got Alyssa to babysit for us and went to see Wreck-It-Ralph, we were excited it was at the dollar theater and really enjoyed the movie.  I highly recommend it and look forward to owning it someday hahaha
