All I Wanna Do, Is Have Some Fun

"I got a feeling, I'm not the only one."  This song was stuck in my head Friday night after explaining to Byron I didn't want to stay cooped up in the apartment after he got home from work.  We ended up having fun - the way old married couples do, and taking Caleb with us out for a quick dinner and walking around Lowe's looking at tools for the yard.

Caleb:  He's no longer being the happy smiley child I am accustomed to, he think's that he's entitled to whatever he wants and gets into everything. I told Byron the other night that Caleb was most certainly his child after I witnessed him reach out any put his finger on something simply because I told him not to touch it.  Little stink-pot. I'm looking forward to getting my sweet baby back, but know I probably have a long while to wait.  In the mean time though, he's getting more consistent at signing "Please" and Byron's decided he wants to start working on teaching him how to sign "Thank You".

Byron:  He had a relatively good week at work.  There weren't any complaints at least.  Wednesday people brought in pie for Pi Day (those math nerds just use excuses wherever they can haha) and Friday they all went out for lunch as a farewell to the receptionist.  They went to Fricker's and apparently Byron's unaccustomed to flirty waitresses so the lunch wasn't as much fun as he had hoped it would be.

Arielle:  I worked for my mom 3 days this week doing paperwork for her preschool pictures.  It's always fun to see all the cute kids and since we were doing Easter Pictures with live bunnies there were some adorable Easter dresses, and I was able to get Caleb's Easter pictures taken too.  He's such a cutie.  I was also released from Young Women's this week.  I was only in for about a month and a half and I was sad to go, but the new Young Women's presidency and advisers are all incredible women and I'm looking forward to what the Lord has in store for me.

In General:  This week has been pretty awesome.  Last Sunday we had the Elders for dinner and since we brought them home with us right after church, they got to help.  One Elder was set to work making the muffins and the other helped Byron peel and slice apples for dessert. After eating we took them with us to Cox Arboretum to look at the new tower they built.  It was a little cold but Caleb enjoyed it quite a bit. Monday night was Amber's birthday party and since it was a "carnival" theme we had awesome treats (sno-cones, cotton candy, and funnel cakes) on top of pizza and cupcakes, and there were fun games for the kids to play while Alyssa did face painting and balloon animals.  They had to use the tickets they were given upon arrival to "buy" their extra treats and to play the games and it was fun to see the kids actually adhere to the rules.  Friday night Byron and I took Caleb with us and walked around Lowe's a little bit to look at trimmers and mowers. We were disappointed by the selection and headed to Sear's Saturday morning before my eye appointment and Byron was able to get some answers about what will be best for us when it comes time to get those things.  Tonight we got to go to my Grandma Lane's house to celebrate my Aunt Wendy's birthday and it was great fun spending time with family.

I guess that's all for now, we hope you all had as fun a week as we did :) Cheerio!

Caleb pouting
I had moussed his hair to show off his curls and
I don't think he liked me rubbing my hands all over his head

After watching me put mousse in Caleb's hair, Charlie wanted some too hahaha

I made him look normal again though, I promise, and he had fun playing with Caleb
