This is a new concept Caleb is learning. He's used to me giving him just about everything he wants and the new reality is taking it's toll
Caleb: He's learning a mile a minute and is too cute for words. He can say "all done" well, kind of, enough to be understood when he's done with lunch. He sits in a booster seat at the table with us now instead of in his high chair, and we're currently working on getting him to fold his arms during prayers and keeping his feet off the table. He's learning how to drink out of big boy cups and is only allowed to have his sippy cup right after he wakes up (he's a groggy grump for the first 20 minutes of the day), and right before bed.
Byron: He's been very busy at work getting ready for a big meeting they have coming up this Thursday, and learning how to use different kinds of programming languages to reach his end goal.
Arielle: I worked 2 more days this week with my mom, finishing up preschool pictures for the season, this time at the preschool where I worked the summer Byron and I were dating. It was crazy and fun to see how much the kids I had watched in the infant and toddler rooms had grown up and how they had changed. I received my new calling. I now teach CTR 5's and I think I've got my hands full. Fortunately they'll be calling a second teacher to my class so I'll still be able to watch Caleb when Byron is teaching and there will already be someone in place this fall when the baby comes - whom I've dubbed "Button" until we find out the gender haha. (19 days left in case anyone was wondering lol)
In General: This week has been pretty laid back. Thursday evening after we put Caleb to bed I gave Byron a haircut. It only took me 20 minutes and looks great so I'm feeling more confident when it comes to getting things done right. Friday night Alyssa came and babysat so we could go on a date, which was nice, I love going on dates. and yesterday we had the elders over for a lunch appointment so I could give one of them a hair cut after having a very productive morning full of running errands.
Button Update: I've gotten to where I can feel the baby moving if I lay on my stomach, but that is not comfortable anymore. Mostly right now, I'm just looking forward to the ultra sound.
I suppose that's all for this week. Cheerio!
