David: He's such an angel. He still isn't rolling over yet, but he seems to have decided he really likes sitting up and tries to do so whenever we lay him on his back. He lets me know when it's naptime or bedtime by getting a little fussy and once he's settled into his swing, he's more than happy to go to sleep. He smiles all the time at us, giggles when Byron plays with him, and melts my heart on a regular basis.
Caleb: I love how much his vocabulary is expanding. We've spent a lot of time playing with his train this week. He thinks it's funny to watch it roll on and off the little hill in his track and loves figuring out how to get the magnets to stick them to each other. He likes to try to sing along with music now, whether it's us singing, or music on the radio, and it's adorable. The funniest was when we were in church and he was singing toddler opera style for the sacrament hymn. I think I may have spent more time laughing than singing and he was quite proud of himself. He loves to tell us what he wants, and is such a great big brother. If David is fussing because I'm in the middle of something and not paying attention, Caleb is more than happy to get in his face and entertain him. He holds his hand, tries to help feed him, and adores him every second of the day.
Byron: He's been a busy man this week. He's been working hard learning new things at work and writing more tutorials. Wednesday evening the Elders asked him if he could go with them for a lesson. He said yes, but when they got there, the person didn't want to talk to them, so Byron spent an hour or so taking them to different houses that were difficult for them to reach on their bicycles (our ward boundaries are huge) I was glad he had the opportunity to go out with them, but I was happy he returned home earlier than expected as well.
Arielle: I've had a ton of fun visiting home improvement stores with my mommy all week. She's looking for tile for the bathroom she's remodeling, and I was looking at some flooring options. I went into a store completely dedicated to tile with her Tuesday afternoon and was amazed by all of the fun displays they had set up. Thursday during lun I went with her to Lowe's and enjoyed looking at what they had to offer. I found the perfect flooring for our current project, a little cheaper than what I had previously been looking at and I found out as the employee was taking my order that if I had come a day sooner I wouldn't have seen it since the display was something they had just gotten. It should be in sometime this week and we'll start putting it down when we get some free time. I realized having everything done by the end of the month isn't going to work out, but we're still going to try to get it completed as soon as possible. I love my little sunbeams and am so excited to be in primary again. I get some pretty funny answers sometimes, like "Santa lives in the North Pole with penguins and elves" when asking where Heavenly Father lives, but I also get sweet smiles and beautiful pictures so I figure the trade off is worth it. :)
In General: This week we've had a lot of fun. Monday night we had a short Family Home Evening with Caleb and my heart sang watching Caleb laugh and dance to the primary music. He's such a wonderful child and I am so in love with him. Friday night Byron and I went to harbor freight, a great hardware store in the area that sells stuff really cheap, to return some tools I found out I didn't need, and got our very own drill! Yea! I think I'm more excited about it than he is, but he was glad it was so cheap. :) Saturday after I went to Franklin with my Mommy to help her get a new mini van, we joined my family for lunch at Chick fil A. We had to leave a little sooner than we wanted to since the missionaries were coming over, but it was still fun. The elders came during their Social Media split and helped Byron take baseboards out of the room we're re-doing as their service project. It went a lot faster with 2 extra sets of hands, but that room is pretty messy right now and I just have to keep reminding myself it has to get worse before it gets better. Sunday evening one of my visiting teachers came over with her 4 children and we had a delicious dinner and I loved getting to chat with her. Her husband met us later, when he got off work (he's a med student who is in the stage of residency where they have to do their on calls "in house") Their kids were a ton of fun, and Caleb was glad to have other people to play with than his boring old Mom and Dad.
That wraps up the news around here for this week. Hope you're all doing well and staying warm. Cheerio!

David doesn't look so convinced that hugs are nice. :)
