David: He's smiling, and giggling, and sleeping, and loving life. He has been given some solid food on rare occasions, but he doesn't seem to be the biggest fan. His favorite is the baby oatmeal I got that has peach and apple flavors mixed in, but I am still nursing as much as he wants, and he loves it.
Caleb: His circumcision is healing really well and he's glad it's not hurting anymore, and that he can get back in the tub (he had a 3 day period of "spongebaths" that he was not happy about). He loves playing in water and his vocabulary is getting bigger every day. I love hearing him try to put together full sentences and am amazed that I have a 2 year old. I must be getting old or something hahahaha.
Byron: He hasn't been riding his bicycle very often lately since we've been getting so much snow, but he still likes to do it when he can and is out of the black box more so he can talk about work again. He enjoys playing with Caleb in the evening and has been memorizing books reading them over and over again to Caleb.
Arielle: I've decided I want to update our front bathroom and having been bugging Byron about it incessantly. Thursday my Mommy humored me and walked around Lowe's with my for the better part of 2 hours while I priced out the things I wanted for the bathroom. Byron doesn't seem to care what I do, as long as I'm willing to save and do things slowly, and he informed me today I'm not allowed to put in anything bright or offensive to the eyes hahaha. Yesterday my friend Kiera came over for a lunch date. We watched planes, ate lunch and caught up a bit before she left to take her sister to swim practice. It was fun seeing her and I'm glad she's back in the area.
New Year's Eve: We had such a great time. We invited a couple of families from church over, as well as my parents, for a party. I was a little nervous since we had originally planned on it being just couples, and had turned into a family party last minute when we found out only 3 couples could make it, but it turned out wonderful. We had games and yummy food, and the greatest people here. One of the couples that came have 2 children the same ages as ours and she served in Hungary with Byron. Her husband is in the air force so they're moving to California in March, but it was a ton of fun getting to know them better and I hope we get to see them more before they leave. I loved every minute of it, but was exhausted by the end and was so glad to get some sleep when everyone left.
In General: We haven't had much going on. Things are pretty peaceful here. I'm exercising about 4 days a week on average with my mommy and evenings are spent living family life. I feel so incredibly blessed and am so glad to know that my family can be forever. We hope you are all enjoying life too and I look forward to hearing from each of you this weekend. Love you!
