David: There's not much new in his life. He enjoys multi grain cheerios, being held, and has recently started enjoying the exersaucer in the play room at the Y while I'm working out since he's started teething and doesn't just sleep through the hour and a half he's in there.
Caleb: He's full of life...and 10x more energy in a day than I have on a weekly basis. I finally listened to my parents and started sitting with him and singing him to sleep at nap time. It's worked 3 days in 4 thus far and I am so stoked that I can get a guaranteed nap now. He loves his Uncle Charlie and is becoming quite a snuggle bug.
Byron: Work has been pretty average this week. Thursday night after dinner he went out with the elders for a little bit to help them get to a few houses that are difficult for them to reach since their appointment for that night fell through. He loves singing to Caleb and still has "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" memorized.
Arielle: Things have been kind of slow this week, but the days flew by. Early in the week I went to Menards to get a couple tools I'll need to lay the floors in the bedroom. I'm looking forward to working on that with my Mommy tomorrow! Friday afternoon I went out to lunch with my friend Heather and her son Aiden. She's been really busy the past couple of months, so it was nice to catch up with her and Caleb loved his mac'n'cheese. I also got to go to a shelf reliance party Saturday afternoon (a company that selves units for food storage and a wide variety of freeze dried food that is amazing) and am still going to the Y to exercise at least 5 times a week.
In General: Friday night Byron took me to the temple. It was so wonderful feeling the spirit and learning even more. I was surprised to run into Tyler Guy, the son of the gentleman who was the DJ for our stake dances (and our wedding) and his new wife. They are absolutely delightful and we're looking forward to having them over for dinner and games sometime. Hopefully soon :) Sunday night we enjoyed a yummy dinner and dessert with my family, and watched the Joseph Smith movie that is now available on Hulu. I don't know that I"ve ever seen it all the way through before so it was fun seeing it and I was reminded once again of the incredible work that was wrought through him by Heavenly Father.
The Blog is pretty short this week, but I hope you're all doing well. The adorable pictures of David grinning his face off are compliments of Alyssa from when she came to babysit Friday night so we could go to the temple.
I just love this face
His baby blues <3
I've never gotten pictures of him laughing, so I just had to share another one.
I might be in love with this face too
Lookin' like a stud after Daddy got him dressed :)
Here's a link to the song I used for the blog title. It's definitely one of my all time favorites.
